I seem to make it out to every Eastern home game and win or lose, I always leave entertained...(or still tipsy from the tailgate). Yesterday was no different. While on the road in Philly, visiting Temple, the Eagles lost a shootout 55-52. Quarterback, Andy Schmitt set a couple school records for passing and an NCAA record for most pass attempts without an interception. Eastern's next and last game will be played at home this Friday against MAC rival CMU, with a 12:00 pm kickoff. It's fan appreciation day, and that means all tickets are FREE for everyone! Why should you go, other than the obvious reasons to support your squad? It beats pulling an all nighter to stand in line for 10 hours just to get 50% off that plasma TV that you both can't afford and can't afford to fix, when it breaks in 2 months.
Also, CMU quarterback Dan Lefevour, a junior, will be playing on Sundays some day. It'll be a fun match up to watch as our NFL bound linebacker Daniel Holtzclaw preys on Lefevour all afternoon.

The only good thing good about Mt. Pleasant is Soaring Eagle Casino. I predict Eastern Eagles soaring over the Chippewas 24-17.
