Welcome Back!

2009 has officially arrived and emYOU! The Magazine's first year is now in the books! As we look back it's hard to imagine all we've accomplished and as we look forward it's motivating to know how much more we can do!

I remember sitting in room 307 of the Halle Library, meeting a room full of "co-workers" for the first time. It was exciting and incredibly unnerving at the same time. Once we got through our painfully awkward intros and learned Dave's secret man crush on Justin Timberlake, the rest is, well... history.

Interviewing incredible EMU student, faculty, and alumni, talking with local and national celebrities, meeting and networking with people in the EMU/Ypsi community, and uncovering the greatness that is EMU has all been too much fun!

YOU, our readers, have helped us slowly create a voice and a sense of pride throughout the EMU community and for that we say Thank YOU! emYOU! The Magazine is created to entertain, educate, and inform you on the positive things that are directly affecting you as an EMU student. 2009 is going to be FINE as we continue to spotlight those who are doing remarkable things. Joan and her amazing story is a great example of what you can expect from us in '09. We'll keep printing, YOU keep reading.
